kent
this weekend i went to kent to do clinics at a showcase there. i had to get up at 5:50am and we left around 6:20am. the drive up tp kent was about two hours long and we actually got there too early because my dad misundersttod what time we had to be there and what time the clinic started. my first clnic i did was for just pitchers. we used the entire indoor football field with pitchers pitching on each side. it was very stressful because ther were dozens of college coach in the middle of us just watching us. the clinic was for a whole hour so im pretty soe today. after that clinic me an my sister got wendys and waited for our out fielding session to start. the out feild session was kinda hard because i didnt wear softball pants and the turn was like sand paper so i had to wear sweats and that weighed m down a lot. our last clinic was hitting and running and it was my favorite because my bestfriend rachel ws there and by very good luck was in my group so i got to stay with her. we left around 4:30 and got home by 6 something, rachels mom dropped her off in gahanna on the way home so i showeed and we went to canes then back to pickerington.

new bat
this past thurday my parents surprised me with a new bat. my dad brought it in from the mailed and gave it to me. i was so excited and suprised! it was the new 2011 C F 4 Demarini. it was 23 oz and 33 inches when delievered :)) it is pink and wite because the 2011 editions are supporting the fight against breast cancer. the original bat is black and grey. but even though my new bat is pink, i still love it. i hit with it at practice today and consistantly hit linedrives to the fence, it is powerful, lightweight, and amazing. i am so so happy my parets got it for me because it is my favorite and it will make make all my hits go just a little farther. ok bye :)

laney
Because all i really do with my life is sit at home and play with my dog, i decided i would just blog about my dog laney. first off, we adopted her from franklin county dog shelter in the spring of 2009 and she is now almost 2 years old. she will play with anything that moves and would never hurt anything furry. laney is an elk hound, so she looks like a small husky, german shepherd mix. i love her curled black tiped tail, she immediatly puts her mouth on your hand if you touch it. laney loves to bark at the cat then run away. i recently learn she absolutely hates baths! but she loves to swim at creekside. laney is a very smart dog and is a pro at everything i have taken the time to teach her. basically i think laney is the prettiest and best dog ever and everyone should come to my house to meet her :))
